The Open Republic supported the appeal of Helsińska Fundacja Praw Człowieka [Helsinki Human Rights Foundation] calling on the Prime Minister to ratify the UNO Convention on the Rights of Persons Living with Disability. In spite of signing the Treaty on 30 March 2007, the Republic of Poland has not yet ratified the Convention, which is necessary for guaranteeing each disabled person that he/she may exercise in an unlimited way, her/his rights.
