Following a report by the Open Republic, the prosecutor’s office in Częstochowa has instigated court proceedings against a popular right-wing rapper “Stopa” for the publication in the social media of an antisemitic composition “If I were a rich man”.
Responding to the Open Republic’s claims that the composition contains false opinions based on anti-Semitic stereotypes about the supposed international Jewish conspiracy to control the media, economy, governments and associations , the rapper denied any wrong doing by citing the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech. Earlier he had claimed that his composition was “fact-based”. The trial continues
