The meaning of the word “openness” has the implicated sense indicating the presence of another man – regardless of his religion, ethnic origin, sex or sexual orientation. Such words as “openness”, “tolerance” “multi-culture” or “freedom” remain such the slogans if they are not exercised in action. The goal of “Society for Tolerance” project implemented by the Open Republic Association from September 2014 to April 2016 was dissemination of the ideas and activities performed by the Association since 1999, thus, first of all, struggling against all forms of racism, anti-Semitism, xenophobia and other attitudes violating human dignity.
