„We, the undersigned, express our strong protest against the way in which the editorial office and journalists of the main newsreel “Wiadomości” and of other TVP programs present the environment of NGOs, undermining their credibility and slandering people, who work in these organizations. Insinuations presented in the public media and repeated in news editions that some organizations receive and spend funds in unfair manner, taking advantage of family connections and friendly circles not only harm reputation and image of attacked NGOs, but also the whole movement of active citizens, who get involved in activities for public welfare, working professionally and as volunteers in NGOs” – write representatives of the 3^rd sector, including members of the Open Republic Association, in their letter of protest.
